Baggu

“our mission is to eliminate single use plastic bags.”

In 2007, founder Emily Sugihara created Baggu because she was unable to find cute, reusable shopping bags on the market. With sustainability as a guiding principle from day one, Baggu is committed to ethical production and reducing waste all while bringing you the cutest totes and other reusable goods.

Why we love Baggu

Minimal Waste

Bags are assembled from a continuous piece of fabric and the scoop is used to make the carrying pouch to eliminate as much fabric waste as possible.

code of conduct

Baggu’s code of conduct outlines the expectations they have for themselves and their manufacturers to practice business responsibly, ethically and sustainably.

100% vegan

At the end of 2020, all leather was eliminated from Baggu bags and they are now 100% vegan.

Recycled Materials

Baggu uses recycled polyester, canvas and filament yarn in their products and ships in FSC-certified 100% recycled paper mailers.

“We want every bag we make to live a long, productive life so we prioritize quality, ensuring our materials and construction hold up over time and age with character.”

“Our eco-friendly luggage, bags, and organizers are crafted so you can make better choices for your adventures, without sacrificing design, price, or quality.”
