Founder Ariel Kaye recognized a need for high quality, direct to consumer bedding and in 2014 launched Parachute. Since then the business has expanded and flourished with a loyal following of happy sleepers.

Parachute uses certified materials including GOTS® certified cotton, Oeko-Tex® certified cotton, Responsible Down Standard® down materials and Forest Stewardship Council® certified wood.

Carbon neutral committed

Parachute is committed to becoming Carbon Neutral Certified by Earth Day 2022.

Circular Program

In 2022, Parachute will launch its first circular program - the recycled down pillow - made from cleaned, sanitized down with a recycled cotton exterior.

Ethical Manufacturing

Parachute insists their manufacturers meet the high standards of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) as they relate to workplace freedoms, child labor, discrimination, health and safety, harassment and violence, living wage gap, working time, precarious employment and migrant workers

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Parachute created the grant/mentorship program Home For Dreams that supports Black-owned businesses with capital, advisory meetings and brand amplification. The company has dedicated over 50% of its paid influencer budget for BIPOC and have implemented more inclusive hiring practices internally.
