Why we love Blockshop

giving initiatives

Blockshop invests 5% of annual profits into occupational health and community programs in Jaipur. Twice a year they fund primary healthcare camps for the textile artist communities they work with in Jaipur in partnership with PeTosh Global, an NGO that specializes in occupational health for workers.

recycled paper

Woodblock prints are printed on paper made from100% recycled cotton scraps from the textile industry.

code of ethics

All Blockshop partners meet ethical employment standards and adhere to strict standards for fair wages and safe, clean, healthy workplace.

Small Batch

Each run of Blockshop textiles is made in small handmade batches to ensure quality and minimize waste.

“The magic of Block Shop’s products results from our close partnership with a handful of small-scale, family-owned manufacturers at the forefront of ethical manufacturing.”

We draw and design everything ourselves and work with our partners in person in small batches of 50-300 units, ensuring our ethical production standards and exceptional craftsmanship are met in every step of the supply chain.
