Why we love Jesse Kamm

thoughtful growth

Limited scale means limited impact and that is central to the Jesse Kamm ethos. Their growth is not financially or even demand-driven, it’s eco-conscious and always about what is most sustainable for for the earth, for the designer herself and for her team.

Safer dyeing process

Garment dyeing can be very bad for the environment and end up polluting our natural waterways. Jesse Kamm uses less dye, exceeds California’s strict regulations for harmful substances and treats the effluent water first at their dye house and then transfers that water directly to the city water treatment plant for additional filtration and treatment.

Giving Back

Jesse Kamm donates to organizations fighting for social, political and economic justice.

“We are a small family business with an emphasis on respect for all people, and a high quality of life for ourselves and for our partners.”

“Our mission at JESSE KAMM is to create high-quality, durable products, produced ethically and sustainably, right here at home, in California.”
